Professional focus of the section:
The Abdominal Imaging Section (SAZ) will be a common means of communication and education for radiologists with an interest in abdominal radiology, will be educational for doctors in pre-certification training focusing on abdominal imaging and will be helpful to all radiologists, as abdominal imaging is part of the daily routine work of a general radiologist.
The aim of the Abdominal Imaging Section is to:
- supporting the education of radiologists as well as doctors in certification preparation with an interest in abdominal imaging.
- sharing the latest scientific knowledge and expertise in abdominal imaging.
- support of radiologists interested in abdominal imaging in scientific research and publication activities
- development of cooperation in the field of abdominal imaging between radiological workplaces in Slovakia
- development of multidisciplinary cooperation
Cooperation with partner organizations:
Abdominal imaging section to cooperate with other professional societies and sections within the framework of interdisciplinary cooperation in the treatment of patients. On an international scale, cooperation with the Czech Radiological Society and ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology).
